The Third Policeman

One day I hope I will be involved in some way in the making of a film of Flann O'Brien's "The Third Policeman", even if it's just making the tea.

Until that time I still have these old illustrations I did for it, years ago. I have a sketch book somewhere full of sketches from the book, I will have to dig it up someday.

I read The Third Policeman for the first time a couple of years ago, and found your illustrations by googling the title. They fit the mood perfectly, and I've come back to them several times. Just wanted to say thanks for sharing!

Hi. You don't post anymore, not even on your other blogs. A quick google search of "jamesgkenny" pops an article of a James G. Kenny's death. I hope you're okay. That photo of old Mathers though! This book is amazing.
